Hundesporten Weightpull

An interview with Vinny of V & B Kennels (Chinaman Article)
A few weeks ago I was at my home in Mcleansville when the phone rang and it was my neighbor and friend Tom Garner on the line. Tom told me that Vinny and his good friend Lenny were in town visiting from the west coast. Tom asked if I would like to come over and visit and talk "dogs", I quickly accepted and then asked Tom a favor. I said, "Tom I have been after you for a long time to write a story about CHINAMAN with no avail could I possibly talk to Vinny about this and so I was on my way to Hillsborough for a visit.
When I arrived it was raining and quite miserable outside Tom, Vinny, Buddy Harris and Lenny were out in the welping house talking about some prospects off of Frisco. These dogs were looking good and the few that have been rolled are looking very promising. After sitting in this building for a while we headed into the Living room of Tom's house and Vinny and I sat down to have a long discussion about this great match and stud dog we all know as CHAMPION CHINAMAN. Vinny first off wanted to make one thing very clear and that is all the decisions that were made on CHINAMAN were jointly made between himself and B who is one of Vinny's closest friends and partner.
In 1981, V & B bought a dog from Kimsey Woods called DOUBLE TROUBLE, they had bought this dog to run in the fast lane with on the west coast and after rolling him out they found out they were pleased with his gameness, but disappointed with his ability and bite. They contacted Kimsey and he told them he had a good rough dog that had just rolled with WOOD'S SUNDANCE and had crippled SUNDANCE, it was CHINAMAN. So V & B decided to trade DOUBLE TROUBLE for CHINAMAN. DOUBLE TROUBLE went on to win two and lost one game in 2 hours and twenty minutes.
V & B started to school CHINAMAN shortly after they got him to California, his first roll was a massacre as CHINAMAN killed the dog in 12 minutes, V & B wanted to see more so Vinny took him that day one hour by car and rolled him into a 48 pound Champion named CEASER. CHINAMAN did not take to the ride well and got sick, when the roll started CHINAMAN was on the bottom for twenty four minutes, from this position he went to CEASER'S belly and hip. Four minutes later at 28 minute mark CEASER'S owner picked him up and his whole loin was blue, CHAMPION CEASER was never heard of again. V & B decided CHINAMAN was ready to match so they hooked him up and he blew through his opponent in 17 minutes. This first match CHINAMAN fought at 45 lbs.
After this match Vinny went to Australia for a month and a half for vacation and upon return he wanted to see some action, you know what they say about absence and the heart. Vinny told me as soo as he got back he took CHINAMAN to the next local confirmation show sponsored by ADBA. At this show there was a guy who owned a Champion named DOCTOR, he had won three at 46 pounds. After talking dogs with him a while Vinny agreed to go back to his place after the show and they were to roll their two dogs. The owner of DOCTOR cleared his living room and we rolled him and CHINAMAN right there in his house! There were at least 15 people that had tagged along from the show to see these two dogs go at it, they met hard in the middle of the room. Then CHINAMAN drove DOCTOR into his corner where he never ame out and he killed DOCTOR in 15 minutes, CHINAMAN literally opened DOCTOR's belly open.
Just a few days later Rockin Robin called V & B and challenged CHINAMAN at 44 pounds. The match was set to go off in 2 1/2 months and when the time came CHINAMAN made short of Rockin Robin's dog by going straight to the gut. Robin called a turn on his dog immediately and made a nice handle. Vinny has not got CHINAMAN in his corner and even though CHINAMAN and Vinny had a strong bound between them, Vinny told me he was scared to hold CHINAMAN in the corner because he would go nuts when removed from his victim and do ANYTHING TO GET BACK. Rockin Robin's dog was a snapping turning dog that would grab CHINAMAN by the nose and run with it. This was style CHINAMAN had not been exposed to when being schooled ad it took CHINAMAN 30 minutes to catch Robin's dog in the belly again, this time Robin's dog began to howl. The punishment that CHINAMAN was doing to this poor dog actually had Vinny feeling sorry for the other dog. As he told me hates to see any dog suffer under any circumstace, he also said he could not understand why Rockin Robin would not pick up as all was lost for his dog. Finally at thirty eight minutes Robin picks up and his dog is in no shape to walk, not to mention scratch.
CHINAMAN took a lot of punishment on the head and it took him six months to heal from that thirty minute bite and run he had to take in his last match, he had one hole that was punched all the way through the muzzle. After he was fully recovered V & B opened CHINAMAN to the world at 45 pounds! This offer stood for three months when V & B finally accepted a challenge at 43 pounds. They traveled 500 miles to fight HUGH GRAY'S HUBCAP, the dog that beat CHAMPION ASTRO. This was to be a classic as many people thought that HUBCAP was just the dog to beat V & B and their dog CHINAMAN. The judge for the contest was Bill Lee. Well Lenny went on to tell me how HUBCAP'S style proved to be fatal for him as he tried to fight CHINAMAN straight up and swap it out with him, this gave CHINAMAN the early opportunity to kill him and win in 22 minutes. This was CHINAMAN'S only convention showing and he won best in show. CHINAMAN fought as the 3rd fight on a seven math card, the fourth fight was CHAMPION ASTRO going out again after he had healed from his loss to HUBCAP, HUB had beat him previously at 1:30. After ASTRO was matched that night Vince made the comment to his owner that CHINAMAN could beat his dog, ASTRO and was tempted to match him twice in one night. The man that owned ASTRO really had nothing to say about the statement that Vinny had made, but he did ask Vinny if he could breed to CHINAMAN. Vinny said no, but he could get a dog and match into CHINAMAN and see what CHINAMAN was best at, for now he was CHAMPION CHINAMAN.
V & B were on there way home from winning and CHINAMAN was restless in his sky kennel so they were going to let him out and before they could get the collar on him to walk and empty him he wa gone! He darted out of the kennel and went running off into the woods in the middle of the night after a deer. It took three of us over an hour to catch him.
After beating HUBCAP, CHINAMAN was again openedto the world and again it seemed forever to get a match for him, eight months later after opening him Cutter & Brice bought a dog specifically to beat CHINAMAN. There was alot of prefight talk, so much of it that V & B took it personally. Cutter and Brice had paid alot of money for this dog and he never made a single scratch to CHINAMAN. Their dog was ahead for the first few minutes until Vinny sent CHINAMAN in to the gut of their dog at 38 minutes, they picked up there dog and he died later. After the fight, Cutter was a gentleman, but I cannot say that for Brice, as he made the stupid statement that he had one at home that could beat CHINAMAN.
Vinny also wants it to be known that CHAMPION CHINAMAN R.O.M. was the type of dog that was a great individual and could have achieved what he did in the hands of ANY RESPONSIBLE dogfighters hands against any competition. I asked Vinny why he did not go for the magic fifth match and his reply was that after the fourth fight he got married and went to Europe for a six month long Honeymoon. When he got back and finally got back to business of the dogs he saw many signs of age on CHINAMAN who was now seven years old. He had grey hairs all over his face and his his teeth were worn badly, so V & B made the choice to retire him and start breeding him. They were offered in excess of five thousand dollars for CHINAMAN from several well known fanciers, but they made a much wiser choice than selling CHINAMAN. V & B are very close to Tom Garner and so the decision was made to GIVE CHINAMAN as a gift to Tom and in return Tom would send them dogs out of CHINAMAN. This proved to be very insightful and was good for the WHOLE GAME.
Vinny closed our conversation saying that over the years that many people have wanted information on this great dog and he hopes he has covered all the bases, while trying to make this a insightful as possible. One closing note was that Vinny born on January 8th and this is the same day in 1989 that this great 43-45 Champion passed away that we know as CHAMPION CHINAMAN.

Smith & Waltons Ch. "Tootise Roll "
Red Williams had come over for one of his regular visits,to talk Bullldogs and relax. All of our visits together turned out to be "too much fun".John Lakey and his son-in law Buzz Smith, invited us to Ajo,on Sunday to look at their dogs and have a roast beef dinner. Those who know me, know that very few roast beef dinners have escaped from me in my life time.Even so,I told Wed I really didn't want to drive to Ajo.lt was over two hours each way and the only scenery was a barren Indian reservation. After reminding me that by Sunday I might be real hungry,Red convinced me to go. As we walked in the front door,l was sure glad we had come.John's wife was loading the table with beef, potatoes and gravy, vegetables, rolIs,pie and cake! After she sat us down, she told us to enjoy ourselves, and she left for the day.I thought at the time that she was the perfect woman,a great cook who knew when to dissappear.lt was one of the most memorable meals of my life. After we ate,"Buzz" showed us some pictures of his dogs. One grabbed our attention. The dog in the picture was dead.lt looked like a butcher had separated both shoulders and stifles with a cleaver!l I asked "Buzz" what happened, and he said an old @#%@#%@#%@#%@#% he had got off the chain and killed it. Red and I looked at each other and tried to act calm.We suggested we go out and take a look at the dogs.John and "Buzz" showed us the yard. They had about 10 or 12 real good looking dogs. Most were of "Peterbilt' and "Hanna Patch" breeding from David Smith and Max Coats. We casually asked about the "killing" dog. "Buzz"sshowed us a four year old brindle @#%@#%@#%@#%@#% with a long dish face named "Tootise Roll" .He told us she was heavy Carver bred, that her great Grandmother was "Ch Butcher Boys" mother. We asked "'Buzz" if it might be possible to roll her .He told us that if we had something her weight,he wsuld. She looked to be about 48 - 42lbs.Buckshot had a bad stifle @#%@#%@#%@#%@#% off his "Preacher" dog at that weight. We called Rim and Re said he'd do it as long as"Tootise" wasn't an ounce over 42lbs.SBae was a bit heavier off the chain,so we had our hopes dashed. We spent the rest of the day talking dogs and finally headed home.Red and I talked about "Tootise" all the way back and the two hours seemed to fly. Three or four months later "Buzz" called and said the mine had closed, his wife had left him and he couldn't keep his dogs.He said he would give me any or all of them.1 told him I didn't have room for them all ,but if he would bring me "Tootise",lld try her, and match her,and give him $500.00 if she won.He brought her down the next day.I called Wed and told him the good news.He sat up a roil with Dwight S.and a rough Heinzi @#%@#%@#%@#%@#% he had.Wed came back over and Buckshot came to take a !ook."Tootise" hit the @#%@#%@#%@#%@#% in the throat, within 5min. she had a hematoma the size of a grapefruit on the right side of her throat.Red asked me to stop it at 10min.and it was obvious the @#%@#%@#%@#%@#% wouldn't last much longer. I asked Red to find something over his way at 42lbs.The match was made into a 'Boomerang x Hog" @#%@#%@#%@#%@#% named "'Hanna. As I was getting ready for the match I just knew "Tootise" would murder it.I sure got a suprise. They met in the center of the pit and went mouth to mouth.Biood was pouring and at 2Omin. "Tootise was getting the worse of it. I got a little worried when I realized I'd never seen "Tootise"scratch. At the 35min. mark "Tootise" got in the right stifle and it blew up as big as a tennis ball. She then bit the left stifle and it did the same."HannaN quit cold and "Tootise" ran a hard courtesy scratch. Wed and I spent many hours discussing how an easy one sure turned hard.I sent "Buzz" the $500.00. A few months later ,Buckshot and I rolled "Tootise and found where she really wanted to go. Deep in the kidneys and found a home.he was whipping the dog and Buckshot gave her some help with his Gerber. We scratched "Tootise" into the dog a half-dozen times and let her work the kidneys. For "Tootsies" second,l matched her into J.B.Clicks "Samantha".They told me she had stopped 9 dogs in matches and rolls.Red came over and P.Browning refereed. At turned into another tough night "Samantha was slinging "Tootise" all over the pit.At 40min.,Buckshot was betting against "Tootise.l was suprised and asked him why? He told me "Tootise" was out-gunned and couldn't win.But as soon as "Tootise" got to the kidneys it was all over. She was in hold for 20min. and the blood was balooning up under the skin. "Samantha turned and was counted out at 1 hr.9min.She was gone before she got out of the driveway. Red,Buckshot and I sat around and talked for awhile.I couldn't understand why "Tootise" was taking such a beating before she turned on and took them out.Buckshot suggested that the next time I matched her,to let her bite a dog on the way to the pit,so she would get angry. For "Tootises" Championship,l traveled again. We went into Brian's "Kaluha" a beautiful black Hammonds @#%@#%@#%@#%@#%,who had won one in 1 hr.40min.On the way to the pit Red held up a @#%@#%@#%@#%@#% "for Tootise and they grabbed each other.lt must have done the trick because "Tootise" went straight to the kidneys. At the 10min. mark "Kauha" was fading dast.I asked Brian to pick her up.He refused but "Tootise" stayed in the kidneys .Me picked her up at 25min. and she made a crawling courtesy scratch, but she never made it home.I flew home with "Ch Tootise Roll". "Tootise" was now six years old and had only been in heat once.I didn't have much hope of ever getting pups from her.I did breed her to Sorrells Hard Eyes and Gr.Ch. Badger.I heard from the boys who ended up with some of the "Hard Eyes" pups they were good rough ones. I later traveled to Pennsylvania to look at a Gr.Ch.Badger x Ch. Tootise @#%@#%@#%@#%@#% that my kids named "Large Marge. She is one of the best I've ever seen, iartense, deep game, and a real punisher in the back end."Marge has since went on to win her championship.l still have two daughters off "Tootise",and lots of grandaughters and grandsons. All of the grandchildern I've tried so far look real good."Ch Tootise" died at Wed's place of cancer when she was 10 years old. I am sure glad she passed my way.! owe it all to Red for talking me into a great roast beef dinner. When I think of "'Tootise" remember talking with Al Brown when I was about '85 years o!d,Just getting started in bulldogs.! told Al I was having trouble finding a good one.Al said to be patient and I'd have my share."But Al,where are . they?" I asked ."Bobby,he said "A GOOD ONE IS WHERE YOU FIND IT" S&W'S TOOTSIE ROLL By - Bobby Smith

The true story of Wee Willy
In the early 80's, I was on one of my many quests in search of the ultimate Canine Warrior with my limited knowledge of respected dog sellers. My journey ended when I contacted Dr. K. Woods. He informed me that he had just "looked" at a small dog in the low thirties pit weight who showed game, had average wrestling ability, and below average bite. He then went on to explain that Wee Willie was bred from some Old Carver Stock and how good he was bred, but he was not of the quality he wanted to represent him personally in the field of the battle. We finally agreed on a price of $700. under the condition that he was free of heartworms and was in good health. I explained that there were several "Openings" in that weight class and he knew my intentions.
After several weeks of impatiently waiting, Dr. Woods finally called and informed me that the only thing in Wee Willie's heart was courage, and that he checked out fine otherwise. In short order Wee Willie had a new home, and within the next month or so, I faced my little hero with another dog that was well lacking in the traits desired in an American Pit Bull Terrier, so that I felt confident that Wee Willie would not suffer any fatal injuries in his first "Showing" for me.
Wee Willie was not misrepresented by Dr. Woods. His ability was fair, his bite was below average, and he definetly possessed the desire to continue the battle. I needed no more convincing, and I placed Wee Willie on a pre-keep feeding program as I had made up my mind to "Show" him for a medium amount of money based on what I had seen. It didn't take long to get this lined up with a very well respected dogman and worthy opponent, Mr. B. House from Texas. The date, weight, and other details were soon taken care of. I started Wee Willie on the usual eight week keep. Into the 6th week of his keep (top keep for me), I noticed something was not quite right for Wee Willie , and it was about time to get the final checkup and go ahead from my local vet. Anyway, I took him on and explained my confusion and suspicions and sure enough it was the worst: HEARTWORMS. After further examination, it was determined that his heart was infact enlarged from the prolonged prior damage caused from heartworms. Wee Willie and I slowly drive home, saddened by the fact that the visions of a bright future, and my "Potential Champion" were now shattered. I placed Wee Willie on the chain and called Mr. House. I explained the situation and that I didn't have a replacement at that weight, and that I would have to pay the forfeit. He sympathized and, reluctantly, accepted my forfeit. After careful consideration, I decided to go ahead with the recommended heartworm treatment. Wee Willie, being the true little viking he was, I didn't want to lose him in that manner.
We Started the thirty-day cure, and keeping Wee Willie out of trouble was no easy task. He was constantly on the lookout for something, anything to get into. The better he got to feeling, the harder it was. Dog houses, food pans, water buckets, pens and doors were no match for this busy little soldier.
Shortly after we finally finished the treatment, a friend of mine named Mr. B. Houston, from Jackson, Mississippi called and was looking for a small male about the description of Wee Willie. I gave him a rundown on the whole history of the little viking, and explained that he could not "look" at him at this time due to the treatment he was recovering from. As I needed the room, we agreed for Mr. Houston to go ahead and take Wee Willie and when he did look at him, if not satisfied, he could return him and get a full refund of the $600.00 purchase price. This was agreeable to us both, so off went Wee Willie again, only for me to get a phone call several months later from Mr. B. Houston.
He explained that he did put Wee Willie down for a "chain match" and did infact win at around the hour mark, but Wee Willie was not of the calibre he was looking for. "Just wasn't enough dog", as he put it! As agreed, he brought Wee Willie back and I returned his $600.00. He did mention in the conversation that he bred Wee Willie to one of his bitches before he "rolled" him (good dogs later came from this breeding.)
I was later relating the history and experiences of Wee Willie to another friend of mine, and old timer and knowledgable dogman, Mr. E. Anderson. He expressed that for the right price, he would like to have Wee Willie for a stud dog. Wee Willie had a new owner for $300.00.
Shortly after Mr. Anderson and I closed the deal on Wee Willie, Mr. "Snakeman" called Mr. Anderson and inquired about Wee Willie. He again gave the history of Wee Willie and he had a new home for the tune of $700.00, and was on his way to "Snakeman's." In the next couple of weeks, Mr. Snakeman called Mr. Anderson back upset about Wee Willie showing positive for heartworms (again). Mr. Snakeman thought it was only fair under these adverse circumstances that Mr. Anderson refund at least half of his purchase price, which Mr. Anderson did.
THE REST OF THE TRUTH IS:
When Wee Willie left us, he was approximately four years old, had recieved one heartworm treatment, had permanent heart damage from prior prolonged heart worms, had won only one "chain fight", and tested positive for heartworms at the time of his departure.
THIS IS WHERE THE MISTERY COMES IN.
Wee Willie reappears again approximately one year later and has overcome these handicaps that have plagued him, and supposedly has won five contracted matches - not as Wee Willie, though; now he is known as "SNAKEMAN'S GRAND CHAMPION PEDRO"

Zinetti & Cupers' RIOS 2W, 1L
RIOS was born 05.01.1998. in the yard of my friend from GB Kennels, Croatia. He was from ELI/SNOOTY bloodline. All pups from that breeding started very early, so RIOS was game tested when 13 months old , he was two dogged vs bigger and older dogs during 45 min. He show us extreme raw power, very heavy mouth and gameness with no doubt. a RIOS was totaly crazy dog. eating doghouses, chains... so he destroy a lot of his teeths. Because of that we want to match him as soon as possible, so my friend Cuper from Italy and me hook him vs imported USA dog from Carver blood in Italy. Even JOE was 1 kg heavier, RIOS silenced him for18 min. Somethime later Cuper bought CH GORING from Wermacht Kennels. He was great pit dog, owner of BIS and GIS trophy and brother to CH ALKA and CH FRITZ, half brother to great GR CH DENDY.One day when Cuper returned home, he find free RIOS and dead GORING in his mouth. When he separated RIOS from a DEAD GORING and put him on the chain, he saw few more bodys, his TESSY 1W and my great MISS YANKEE, which was supposed to be breed tomorrow with VILI ROM. RIOS didn't care much for hers heat. And Cuper was not in home only couple hours.Off course, RIOS broke few more teeth. Some later I bring him in Croatia and searching for most known opponent. I call Andrijin Kennels and tried to hook up vs his SAVON 1W(vs CH MAX), 1D(2 :50) or vs his CH DORO 5W.But, since vas easier to swimm across over beautiful Adriatic sea, than do match vs guys like him, he calls other people which have one famous dog from his blood. M&P Kennels callsme and we contract match for 5 min, like should be. M&P's BOBO won ower highly regarded BONGO in 2:03. BONGO won before that BIS trophy in his first, and silenced game CH DONKY 4W in his second. BOBO is grandson of GR CH YELLOW ROM. RIOS was sick in the car and he drop some weight. Because that BOBO dominated first 15 min riding RIOS' head, while RIOS tried to catch his chest. When BOBO slows down, RIOS in the back end and BOBO quit on his first at 0:32 and make RIOS 2 x winner. Soon after call me Staforac and his RAMBO 1W, match was set up for Pula Show 2001. During the keep RIOS had big health problems, after Antibiotics he looks OK, and I continue like normal, but this was mistake. RIOS enters weak in match and fight from bottom. In start RIOS lost few more teeth and RAMBO open big cut on his nose where RIOS bleed heavily through whole match. He was weaker and weaker. There was no turn, out of hold, or any other bad sign, both dogs stay in holds, RIOS in chest from bottom, RAMBO on the head waiting good chance. At 1:20 RIOS falls into deep shock and was with no defense on the floor. I pick him up in 1:30 and try to scratch him. Nobody believe that he can make scratch, but RIOS shows them that he can and will. He falls down, go up, fall......and make stumbling ,deadgame courtesy scratch and grab RAMBO in chest again. Crowd was applauding, and I took him to my wet to try to save him. Unfortunately, RIOS died and like my buddy said : "Deadgame dog die, that he was a curr, he will be probably alive..." RIOS was woted Gamest in Show, and RAMBO won Best in Show . RIOS was breed only once and there is only one pup out off him alive, dam of this pup is my old CH AZRA ROM, the last pup out off her too. There is no money which can pay for this little female which I called PARMA. She is 80 days old and hot and started. I hope she will give me one little RIOS in future. CH AZRA ROM is part of great litter where was also Žeževica Knls' CH PENNY, Marsonia Knls' CH JENNY, and Nenad's TINA 1W,1L (produced 2 Champions). She won 3 contracted matches and one off the chain and collected 1 forfeit. CH AZRA ROM is, with no doubt, one of the best producing bitches of modern times. She produce winners, no matter who is the sire. hers offspring have record of 23 wins and only 3 loses, and there are many young dogs still waiting to come of age. Her offspring start early, extremely hard working, crazy dogs, super natural air and always stay in hold dogs. Strong mouth, very game and intelligent dogs.

High Blood Bulldogs' Astaroth (Aces High Chavez)

|
This is the pit story of High Blood Bulldogs' Astaroth (Aces High Chavez), a brazilian 4 time winner.
I'm sending to you a picture of him, all was lincenced from its owner (Mr. Jonas Klaus pitbulldogs@email.com, from Eddie Klaus' family), no problem, you can post this in your site. Very interesting because of the age when this dog was matched, the brazilian are crazy people :) All happen in Rio Grande do Sul – Brazil.
Aces High have produced some very nice heavy bulldogs including Aces High Anthrax (Saddam) (3XW), Wild Hill’s Arena (5XW), C. Bin Laden (2XW) and Chavez (Astaroth) (4XW) (1XL). This last one had proved to be a great match dog as a very nice producer too. Astaroth sired very nice match dogs when bred to Bellon’s Dhara, Bullwall’s Baby Dolly and Wolney’s Diva (both Bullyson blood), Wolney’s Cacatua (Yellow/Bullyson), Deep Impact’s Problema (Corvino blood) and Panzer’s Diana (Red Devil blood). The first Astaroth’s school roll (July, 2002) was against a bitch called Kimi, this fight was a massacre and ended in only 2 minutes, very nice to a 8 months dog. Kimi was suffered a very deep chest injury. After that he was sold out to H.B.B. “Astaroth is big, very proud, he thinks that he’s the king of the world, soon as I toke him out of the car he started to demark his new territory and didn’t gave a shit to our stud, son of Ch. Bibbols, Hitler. It seems that he thinks that he’s the one.” His first serious roll was against one of the sons of Ch. Boudreaux’ Pancho, he was a 3 times winner in 4 fights and his name was Ozzy. This fight was short and Astaroth suffer some attacks in the first minute and a half, but when he comes to the top he was near to kill Ozzy in 3 minutes, after 5 minutes it seems that a grenade exploded on Ozzie, his owner, G.K., toke him off the pit and said that Ozzy wasn’t good conditioned. Ozzy had very and serious injuries on the head and Astaroth nothing but some scratches in his neck and in one of his legs. To his second he was hooked against Mr. D. with his Jack, that was a 6 time winner and no losses, this dog was very closed into Bolio blood. Astaroth was well conditioned but Jack was a big match dog with more than 10 pounds heavier than the young Astaroth. All the chances were against Astaroth. Dogs released and at the mark of 3 minutes, mouth with mouth, Astaroth made serious injuries in Jack’s teeth. This fight stopped at the mark of 3 minutes and 47 seconds, by medical decision. At this time Astaroth was at 11 months. Was the first time that Jack lost a roll and was his retired too. Mr. D. told that dog have a mouth of a crocodile and called him “The Breaker”. The third roll was against a Bellon/Bullyson blood dog called Dinamo from B.P.D., this dog was a descendant from Ch. Koatly, Astaroth was screaming in the corner, it seems that he knew that Dinamo was trouble and wanted to end it soon. Astaroth was in with 64 pounds and Dinamo with 62. This fight was the hardest one to Astaroth. Dinamo was a very nice leg dog and Astaroth had proved to be a multi-techniques, Astaroth defended his legs well and only at the mark of 3 minutes Dinamo got one of Astaroth’s front legs, Astaroth thanked him biting his neck, after 2 minutes Astaroth knew that he wouldn’t win only grappling Dinamo’s neck. He waited the right moment and toke one of Dinamo’s shoulders and when Dinamo tried to change his strategies, Astaroth pulled his leg off. Scratch. At the second round Astaroth was only at 3 legs. The dogs were released and Astaroth gave back the favor of a leg injury to Dinamo. Scratch again. The two dogs were on 3 legs now. The dogs were released again but Astaroth was very tired. Dinamo got a good muzzle bite and worked very good. Was this the end? No way! After 2 minutes Astaroth was very tired and it seems that he wanted to put an end in this roll. He pulled very hard his muzzle from Dinamo’s mouth breaking his own nose and jumped to take the head, when Dinamo jumped Astaroth changed the idea and got Dinamo’s leg again. At the mark of 11 minutes and 03 seconds, Dinamo needed to stop or Astaroth could take his leg out of his body. Astaroth was very tired but he was screaming totally crazy. It seems that Astaroth wanted to kill that black dog. After 10 minutes he was calm down and very tired. This was the most difficult fight to Astaroth and ended in only 11 minutes. He was only with 13 months at this time. His last roll was against a son of Gr. Ch. Russa, this dog’s name was Iron. If he was Iron, Astaroth was STEEL. 6 minutes and with chest, head, muzzle and legs hard injuries Iron was nothing but twisted metal. Astaroth just have suffer one single successfully attack in one of his legs and nothing more. One day later Astaroth was almost full restored and Iron was dead. After that Astaroth, with 16 months, was retired to stud. Astaroth’s grandmother, Wild Hill’s Arena was a great match dog too, winning all of the bests adversaries she was hooked in. Arena was a 5XW and was recognized as one of the all time bests bitches of her province (Canoas – RS - Brazil). Anthrax was a very nice match dog too and won some good dogs. Unfortunately Anthrax died when a stupid have shot his head with a gun in a dog fighting, Anthrax was killing this man’s dog. |

Bellon
http://www.highbloodbulldogs.bravehost.com/
Bellon's Ch. Escuder The Bellon line was came from Antonio Bellon's working in Mexico with some great American bloodlines, it was crossings with of Bolio, Crenshaw, Yellow, Red Boy and Jocko blood. These dogs made great rolls against great American bloodlines, including some victories against Crenshaw's dogs itself. The Bellon line don't have a clear main skill, but its dogs are, mostly frequently, good stamina, game and lots of mouth, many of them can't be called as hard biters, but can made great injuries in their adversaries. Leg grapplers and some head dogs are very easy to see in Bellon's bulldogs. Antonio Bellon really deserves all the credits to choose high quality bulldogs from great bloodlines, this working was the first Mexican great breeding program and some of the bests of the world. Many American breeders don't see the Bellon dogs as a stabilized bloodline and call these dogs as Bolio/Crenshaw crossings, in fact this is very offensive to some Latin Breeders. There's some very nice kennels in USA that works with these Mexican bulldogs, some of these kennels made crossings between these Bellon dogs with Bullyson, Bolio and Crenshaw bloodlines. Diablo had some of this blood and was one of the bests of this line at his time and was one of the dogs that made the Dark Fighters line alive, with some of Bullyson and Eli blood. Grapa and Piraña, that was great match dogs too, traveled to Texas from Mexico in hands of Mr. Charles Gonzales. Some Bellon line dogs that became famous were Ch. Koatly, Chacal, Cascavel, Lucifer, Soruyo, Ch. Escuder, Veneno ROM and Ira. All great match dogs. |
